AMATEUR FIGHTS

On 28th September 2012, MY-T Martial Arts Academy (Kemaman Do-Jang) which is the official base for Terengganu Muaythai Association ["Muaythai Terengganu"] (the state body for muaythai amateur sport) was appointed by the Muaythai Federation Of Malaysia ["PMM"] to organise the amateur event which involving muaythai clubs and practitioners within the district of Kemaman.  This event become the first experience to local muaythai exponents where public were invited to watch the fight using the amateur system.  The amateur game of muaythai is recognised by the Majlis Sukan Negara and will be introduced in SUKMA 2013.  The programme eventually becomes important as to promoting amateur to the public as it will be introduced to schools co-curricular activities within this country and this has been duly approved recognised by Kementerian Pelajaran Malaysia.  Thanks to PMM.  Only through Muaythai Terengganu the muaythai amateur clubs to be introduced to schools throughout the state of Terengganu.  The games is safe and the art is effective self-defense to learn.  Muaythai under IFMA – International Federation of Muaythai Amateur  , the World Governing Body For Amateur Muaythai is working hard towards olympic.
